The Objective

Jupiter, a company serving various sectors like municipalities, health, industry, fishing, and political bodies, wanted to update their brand without losing its unique essence. I aimed to introduce a subtle rebrand by adopting new logos, capturing fresh staff photographs, creating a short company film, and redesigning their website to better showcase their comprehensive services.

The key challenge was to honor Jupiter's history while giving their brand and digital presence a modern twist. Concerned about preserving their core identity, I focused on keeping the spirit of their original logo and improving the website's user experience. Their objective was to create an easy-to-use, streamlined website that effectively highlights Jupiter's main services.

Our redesign strategy balanced modernity with Jupiter's established brand identity. Retaining the original orange color, we sought to create a tech-savvy yet approachable look, emphasizing Jupiter's community and work culture through genuine staff photographs.

The Process

The project kicked off with a detailed workshop where Jupiter's leading team members got together to express to me the company's workings, goals, and the challenges they see. This team effort helped me create a detailed plan for the project, which helped guide everyone involved, including Radu Gabriel who worked on the new logos and brand manual, and Trygve Espejord who took the majority of the photos & did a short film production.

The design brief i created ensured that both me and the team were on the same page and that we were creating a cohesive product.

The new logo features three circles, paying homage to Jupiter's history, and this design is used throughout to make sure the brand looks consistent everywhere. The website got a new look, with a heavy focus on improved navigation, clearly showing off Jupiter's products, and strengthening the overall look and feel of the brand.

The Outcome

The project culminated in a refined visual identity that resonated well with both the client and their target audience. The cohesive integration of new logos, staff photos, and a short film within the redesigned website effectively showcased Jupiter's renewed brand. This transformation was met with client satisfaction, reflecting a deep understanding of their needs and a commitment to preserving their company's essence while navigating towards a modernized public image.
